Vysiion can provide an experienced Programme or Project Manager to manage your migration project following our PRINCE2® methodology. The Project Manager will provide a single point of contact within Vysiion, secure the required resources, co-ordinate all activities and ensure any risks are highlighted, managed and mitigated appropriately.
Our Project Managers have been engaged in successfully transitioning services to Vysiion from both the customer itself and from incumbent suppliers and are very familiar with all the activities that need to take place to migrate to the cloud and the associated dependencies.
Our migration projects follow a standard phased approach. The nature of the project being undertaken determines the precise steps, however following a standard approach ensures that we can apply our regular project governance and quality assurance processes, and that each phase can be ‘signed off’ by the customer before commencing the next.
This approach also allows us to provide realistic time estimates for reaching significant milestones, for the project, while providing:
- A documented migration strategy for your organisation be it Public or Private Cloud, Physical Migration or Physical to virtual etc.
- Impartial, vendor agnostic assessments
- Accurate project costs
- Defined risks, benefits and ROI
- SC cleared consultants experienced in the public sector
We will apply project governance and quality assurance processes which ensure each phase is ‘signed off’ by the customer before progressing to the next. Governance procedures include regular progress reports and review meetings, risk management and checkpoints. This ensures that the project steering group has the relevant information to make informed decisions. If required, the project plans will be refined to ensure timescales are realistic and to take on board any formally approved changes to the project scope.
